October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and for Brilliant Scents this month is about more than simply raising awareness. It is about standing behind a cause we genuinely care about as a small business and using the community we have built to make a difference in the world.
Breast Cancer touches so many lives; our family members, friends, colleagues and communities. Behind every diagnosis is a person with loved ones walking through their journey with them. At Brilliant Scents, we believe that small businesses like ours have an opportunity to use their platform for something bigger than just growing their business. Back in 2023 when we were a significantly smaller business we helped fund Breast Cancer Research with our limited edition Fragrance Oil "Pink Angel" - 3 years later we decided our support was equally important and with our reach we could make a significantly bigger impact and support our community.
Standing with Positively Pink
Throughout October, Brilliant Scents is proud to support the "Positively Pink Foundation" through our limited edition Scent of the Month, Scents of Hope. Positively Pink was founded with a passion for supporting those impacted by breast cancer, with breast cancer awareness and support remaining at the heart of its mission.
As the foundation has grown, its mission has expanded to support individuals and their families affected by all types of cancer, while continuing to place a special focus on breast cancer. Their mission is something we believe in and want to support. No-one should have to face cancer alone. Hope, compassion, awareness and support can make an incredible difference when someone is facing their hardest moments for themselves or a family member. We are very proud to stand behind an organization committed to providing exactly that.
Turning awareness into action
For us at Brilliant Scents, this is not simply an October campaign. Breast cancer awareness is something we personally care about and that gives us the opportunity to turn our awareness into action to make a difference for our community that supports us. For this reason, throughout October 5% of the profits generated from "Scents of Hope" will be donated to the "Positively Pink Foundation"
We chose the name "Scents of Hope" because hope is at the heart of what this month represents to us. Hope for those currently battling cancer, hope for their families and loved ones standing beside them, and hope that by uniting as one community; we can make a meaningful change.
This fragrance oil was created for a special to us "Scent of the Month", inspired by BBW Saltwater Breeze, with violet leaves, white lotus blossoms and fresh linens. But this October, what matters most is not simply what is inside the bottle. It is what we can do together with our clients, friends and loved ones because of it.

Everyone who decides to support in any way will help us extend the reach of our campaign. You can support the campaign by purchasing any bottle size of "Scents of Hope" or "Scent of the Month Club" throughout October 2026; 5% of the profits generated from both will be donated to the "Positively Pink Foundation".
You can help by sharing our campaign, talking about "Breast cancer awareness month" with your family, friends, loved ones and community and keeping this important conversation alive even after October. A small action becomes much more powerful when an entire community takes action together.
