All Brilliant Scents oil products are Paraben-free, vegan, cruelty-free, phthalate-free and petroleum free. They are produced in accordance with the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).

Brilliant Scents products adhere to the VOC guidelines set forth by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and are free of any carcinogens as defined by the National Toxicology Department (NTP), International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA).

Yes, online ordering is available for the USA and Canada - however if you'd like to place an international order you'll need to reach out to concierge@brilliantscents.com.

Based on your issue and your order, our team will help you according to our terms of service. Our team might issue you a refund or reship your items.

We currently collect Sales tax in the state of Florida - where our store is currently based.

This might be subject to change if the law changes, if we become liable for sales tax in other states or we move states. There might not be prior notice when that happens.

If you are tax exempt and have a valid state permit, please send that to concierge@brilliantscents.com so that we can notate your account.

Eligible items must be unused and in saleable condition. That includes packaging, molds, books, etc.

If you want to return an item, please call us at 800-640-4504 or email us at concierge@brilliantscents.com within 14 days for a resolution or a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

We cannot accept returns without prior authorization. All unsolicited products will not be refunded or returned.

All refunds for the product price are applied to the original method of payment. Original and return shipping costs, associated fees, duties, and taxes will not be refunded. 

We recommend insuring the return and getting the tracking information. Please allow us up to 10 business days to process returns.

Orders are shipped Monday through Friday. Major holidays like Christmas and Labor Day are not included in transit times. We're happy to ship via UPS and USPS - but we might choose a different shipping method based on your location and all items are always insured.

Our processing time is usually the same day or 1 full working day at max, not including holidays and weekends. During the holiday season it can be up to 7 business days. If you have a question about current times please message us.

Our all-natural fragrance oils comprise most of our fragrances, which are perfume quality style scents specifically designed for diffusion. Their components include both natural materials like essential oils and absolutes, as well as synthetic scent molecules for a well-rounded consistent scent. Our fragrance oil blends are specifically just essential oils, meaning they are 100% natural and plant-derived molecules. Essential oil blends tend to smell stronger and are more volatile (evaporate more quickly) than our fragrance oil blends. We take great care in the sourcing and creation of all of our fragrances to deliver high-quality compositions.

- For the LX500, one 120ML bottle of fragrance oil will last about 30 days on average.

- For the LX1200, one 200ML bottle of fragrance oil will last about 30 days on average.

- For the LX3000, one 500ML bottle of fragrance oil will last 30 days on average.

- For the LX5000, one 500ML bottle of fragrance oil will last 30 days on average.

- For the LX6000, two 500ML bottles of fragrance oil will last 30 days on average.

Please note that those are average days - and the actual number can vary based on the intensity and program on your diffuser.

Brilliant Scents diffusers use patented cold-air diffusion technology to transform a fine liquid fragrance into a dry micro mist. These are nebulizing diffusers, which differ from ultrasonic or humidifying and heat or evaporative methods. Cold air diffusion keeps the integrity of the scent intact and does not use any heat or water. The liquid scent molecules mix with air and vibration to create a dry plume of scent, which is slightly visible and dry. This dry mist is dispersed into the air either directly from the diffuser or injected into the supply duct of an HVAC system to push the scent with the airflow.

This method is the most effective way of scenting and can produce the strongest most direct results. Though, each diffuser has adjustable strength settings for your desired level of output. Scent is intermittently dispersed based on programmed settings, creating a consistent ambient scent.

Depending on which unit you choose, here is the chart for the LX systems:

- LX500 and LX500 v2 can scent UP TO 550 square feet of space

- LX1200 and LX1200 v2 can scent UP TO 1,200 square feet of space evenly

- LX3000 and LX3000 v2 can scent UP TO 3,500 square feet of space evenly

- LX5000 and LX5000 v2 can scent UP TO 5,500 square feet of space evenly

- LX6000 can scent UP TO 12,000 square feet of space evenly

Brilliant Scents diffusers require a power outlet to operate and general maintenance and occasional cleaning are required using our bottle of "KEEP IT CLEAN" System Rinsing Solution. Each diffuser comes with a manual for instructions on setup, use, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Please reach out to us if you seek further support or have specific questions.

No. The systems are connected AFTER the air handler and into the ductwork directly. This bypasses the unit completely and is harmless to your ductwork. When fragrance is dispersed through your ducts it is dispersed in a nano-particle form which is where the oil gets broken down into air when it exits the LX systems.
