Reeds carry fragrance passively with no heat at all. The thing to manage is the bottle and the reeds themselves, which a cat can tip or a dog can chew.
- Set reeds on a high, stable surface away from paws and tails.
- If a pet ingests a reed or oil, call your vet. Fragrance oil is not meant to be eaten.
- Watch for sensitivity in the first few days and adjust placement.

Yes. Dogs tolerate home fragrance well. Because their sense of scent is far stronger than ours, keep intensity low and place units out of reach of chewers.
What about birds?
