Pet Safe Home Fragrance
Home Fragrance That's Safe For Your Pets
Cold-air diffusion with no heat and no aerosol. Fragrance certified to IFRA and RIFM safety standards, cruelty-free, and labeled child and pet safe. Honest, species-by-species guidance for cats, dogs, and the rooms they live in.
Why Our Fragrance Is Pet-Safe
Most luxury home fragrance brands either skip the safety testing or bury the results. Here is what sets our approach apart, in plain language.
Cold-Air Diffusion, No Heat
Our patented technology turns fragrance oil into a dry, scent-carrying mist with no heat, no flame, and no water. That means no burning, no smoke particles, and no humidity buildup that can stress a pet's respiratory system.
Certified To Real Safety Standards
Our fragrance is certified to IFRA and RIFM standards, the bodies the industry uses to evaluate fragrance safety. We also meet TSCA and CARB VOC requirements and test carcinogen-free against NTP, IARC, and OSHA lists. Most brands never publish any of this.
Cruelty-Free And Labeled Pet Safe
Vegan, cruelty-free, and free of parabens, phthalates, and petroleum. Our fragrance oils are labeled child and pet safe, so you can scent your home without second-guessing what your animals are breathing.
Safety, Species By Species
Pets are not all the same. Cats process fragrance differently than dogs, and birds are more sensitive than both. Here is the straight version.
For Cat Households
Cats lack some of the liver enzymes that help other animals break down certain fragrance compounds, so they deserve extra care. Our cold-air diffusion keeps fragrance light and consistent rather than concentrated, and the formulas avoid the heavy carriers found in many candles and plug-ins.
- Place diffusers and bottles where a cat cannot knock them over.
- Keep rooms ventilated and let your cat leave the space freely.
- Start light and watch for any change in behavior or breathing.
For Dog Households
Dogs handle home fragrance more easily than cats, but their noses are far more sensitive than ours, so less is more. Our cold-air systems spread an even, low-intensity fragrance through a room instead of a strong burst near one spot.
- Position machines and reeds out of reach of curious chewers.
- Give your dog an easy path to a fragrance-free room.
- Dial intensity down for smaller breeds and senior dogs.
A Note On Birds
We would rather be honest than oversell. Birds have uniquely sensitive respiratory systems and react to airborne particles that other pets tolerate. If you keep birds, we recommend extra caution with any home fragrance, ours included.
- Never run fragrance in the same room as a bird's enclosure.
- Keep birds in a separate, well-ventilated space.
- When in doubt, ask your avian vet before scenting that area.
How To Use Each Format Around Pets
Every fragrance format calls for slightly different placement. Quick guidance for the three we make.
The Most Pet-Friendly Option
No heat, no water, and no aerosol make our diffuser machines our easiest format to live with around animals. The fragrance disperses evenly through the room instead of pooling in one spot.
- Mount or place the unit out of a pet's direct reach.
- Set intensity to the lowest level that scents the space well.
- Keep normal airflow so the room never feels heavy.
Beautiful, With A Little Placement Care
Reeds carry fragrance passively with no heat at all. The thing to manage is the bottle and the reeds themselves, which a cat can tip or a dog can chew.
- Set reeds on a high, stable surface away from paws and tails.
- If a pet ingests a reed or oil, call your vet. Fragrance oil is not meant to be eaten.
- Watch for sensitivity in the first few days and adjust placement.
Time It Around Your Pets
Room sprays give you instant fragrance, so the simple rule is to spray when pets are out of the room and let it settle before they return.
- Spray into the air, not onto bedding, toys, or food bowls.
- Let the fragrance settle for a few minutes before pets come back.
- Avoid spraying near feeding or sleeping areas entirely.

Pet Safety FAQ
Is your fragrance safe for cats?
Our fragrance oils are labeled child and pet safe and certified to IFRA and RIFM standards. Cats are more sensitive than dogs, so we recommend light settings, good ventilation, and an open path for your cat to leave the room.
Is your fragrance safe for dogs?
Yes. Dogs tolerate home fragrance well. Because their sense of scent is far stronger than ours, keep intensity low and place units out of reach of chewers.
What about birds?
Birds have uniquely sensitive respiratory systems. We recommend extra caution and keeping birds in a separate, well-ventilated room away from any home fragrance, ours included.
What if my pet has reacted to fragrances before?
Start with the lowest setting in a well-ventilated room and watch your pet over the first few days. If your pet has a known sensitivity, check with your vet before introducing any new fragrance.
Can I use these near food prep or feeding areas?
We recommend keeping fragrance away from food bowls, prep surfaces, and bedding. Scent the living spaces, not the feeding spaces.
Do you test on animals?
No. Our products are cruelty-free and vegan.
