I have never had anything less than a steller experience with Brilliant Scents. Their diffuser oils are by far the best smelling, longest lasting, most high-quality of any that I've tried. Shipping time is incredibly fast and their customer service is expert level. Most recently I was notified that they were out of a scent that I purchased. Not only did a representative reach out immediately after they discovered it, but gave me the option to choose any other scent and had it shipped out the same day. I can't say enough good things about this company or their product!
Received the diffuser as a gift and was excited as have been looking for diffusers. This was installed and we love how this works and makes the house smell great. I went on the site and ordered more looking forward to having different smells for the seasons. The price which is in US dollars was quite a surprise as this is an expensive product to run however, was happy with the product and ordered. Now much to my surprise I need to hire a broker at my expense as well as pay tariffs on the scents that I had ordered. If I had known that this would cause this product to be far ou tpriced than any other diffuser I would have looked for a product that was more Canadian Friendly. I still have not received my scents as I need to hire a broker to get them as well as pay the tariffs. I have emailed customer service who to my dismay was not helpful at all. I had asked to have my products cancelled or the option of mailing through Canadian Post where this issue would not be a problem. I do plan on letting Canadians know exactly what would be in store in this product is ordered as I think this product should not be high extra cost associated with a different diffuser which is more shipping friendly.

Unfortunately, shipping to Canada can sometimes be unpredictable due to duties, taxes, and brokerage fees, which vary depending on the carrier. We currently ship via FedEx and USPS, and unless a preference is selected at checkout, we are unable to determine which works best for each customer. Additionally, the recent strike within the Canadian postal system temporarily limited our shipping options, leading us to use FedEx exclusively for a period of time.
We understand that the additional brokerage and tariff fees were unexpected and frustrating. To prevent this issue from happening again, we are now shipping all Canadian orders exclusively via USPS, which should streamline the process and help avoid similar issues. We are also actively working on securing a new agreement with FedEx to handle duties and taxes in a manner similar to USPS to improve the overall experience for our Canadian customers.
